Fat Tires and Fish Stories

On Thursday, October 8th Trout Unlimited and the Colorado Watershed Assembly (CWA) hosted “Fat Tires and Fish Stories” at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado. 
The Watershed Assembly was in town congregating for their annual conference comprised of local watershed groups from across the state.  The 3 day conference included forums, speakers and meetings regarding anything and everything surrounding our state’s watersheds.  Our local TU Chapter decided to team up with the CWA and offer a relaxed evening affair to afford our like minded organizations a chance to get to know one another.  The evening was a grand success with nearly 100 people making an appearance between our local TU members and CWA conference attendees.  Having received state approval for the Eagle Valley Chapter reinstatement the weekend prior, we were ecstatic to have the opportunity to share this great news will all!  The timing could not have been better! Good times were had by all while enjoying some local BBQ and New Belgium products amongst friends and colleagues.
